Dyscalculia Courses
Educators play a crucial role in identifying learning difficulties early on. By understanding dyscalculia, teachers can recognize signs and symptoms in students, allowing for timely intervention and support. Knowledge of dyscalculia enables teachers to tailor their teaching methods to accommodate students with this specific learning difficulty. By using differentiated instruction techniques, educators can provide alternative approaches and resources to help students grasp mathematical concepts.
We have designed the content so students will have the option to follow either Level 3, Level 5 and Level 7 full programme or the Level 7 top up programme.
The Level 3 comprises completing 2 modules and students will have 6 months to complete the course.
The Level 5 comprises completing 3 modules and students will have 1 year to complete the course.
The Level 7 full course comprises 4 modules and students will have 2 years to complete this course.
The Level 7 top-up is for people who already have a Level 5 qualification in Dyscalculia and have Accredited Teacher/Practitioner Dyscalculia (ATD/APD) and will exempt students from Module 1. Students will have 18 months to complete this course.
